Specialist rugs differ in their construction and fibre content and therefore require different cleaning processes. We can assure our clients that the cleaning methods we use are safe and thorough and will restore the appearance of your rugs, tapestries and fine carpets.
Firstly your rug is collected by us and delivered to our rug cleaning facility where it is examined to identify the construction and fibre content. The examination will tell us whether the rug is safe to be wet cleaned or whether we need to use a dry cleaning method.
We then completely vacuum the rug using high pressure commercial vacuums and back dust the rug using vibro beating machines, which loosen any dirt lodged within the rug. The rug is then vacuumed again to remove all surface dust and dirt. We then begin the cleaning process:
When the rug can not be wet cleaned due to its construction or due to the dyes not being stable we use a dry cleaning process. We will use a hot dry odourless mineral solvent machine to remove any dirt left in the rug or we will apply the solvent by hand and dry using absorbent cotton towels.
If it is safe to wet clean the rug we will use one of three methods.
The rug is then dried in a controlled drying environment and returned to the client cleaner and fresher.

If at any time you are not completely satisfied we will do whatever it takes to rectify the problem.
